Gershom Heald
was a private in Captain Simon Hunt’s company in Colonel Brook’s regiment. He was wounded in the battle of White Planes.

The Gershom Heald House was formerly located across from Spencer Brook Farm at 641 South Street. Gershom is buried in Carlisle's Central Burying Ground.
Carlisle Patriots Day 250 is a fiscally sponsored project of the Carlisle Historical Society with the support of the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism and MA250. We work in close partnership with the Carlisle 250 Committee,  an official town committee formed to coordinate the town's commemoration of the Battle of Lexington and Concord.
