In 1874, she donated the summerhouse gazebo in Green Cemetery and In 1883, she and her sister donated the funds for the purchase and installation of the Goddess of Liberty statue that was erected in the Carlisle Rotary in honor of the town’s Civil War dead.

We work in close partnership with the Carlisle 250 Committee,  an official town committee formed to coordinate the town's commemoration of the Battle of Lexington and Concord.
